The anycodings_google-drive-api 'files' key in the response is just empty anycodings_google-drive-api while in the folder I tested there are anycodings_google-drive-api actually files and sub-folders.

First of all it anycodings_google-drive-api is an example on searching by mimeType, not anycodings_google-drive-api by parent ID. The official documentation here is not anycodings_google-drive-api helping much on this topic.
